Case Study 1
A client with two sites, one the Head Office where all the accounting staff are based and the second site being their warehouse. Prior to using Online 50, the clients had to work towards a structured accounting timetable whereby accounts staff would complete their work, the Sage files backed up and sent to the warehouse for restoring so that the warehouse team could book in stock received and complete orders processed. Once this was done, the warehouse staff would backup Sage and send it back to Head Office so that the accounting department could work on the system. Obviously this created bottlenecks in the system and led to valuable time being lost. There was also a serious risk of errors. Implementing Online 50 has enabled the company to make its working practice more efficient.

Case Study 2
Another client retained us to produce monthly management accounts. They would inform us when their month-end procedures were complete, and would send us a back-up copy of Sage for restoring onto our network. Once the reviews had been completed and month-end journals written up, we would produce the month-end accounts and send these to the client along with the month-end journals to be processed. On a few occasions, information had changed between the backup copy being sent to us and the monthend journals being produced, leading to errors in the management accounts. As soon as we introduced Online 50 to the client and they started using the service, all these issues disappeared.
